Their designs are tailor-made to suit the project or client brief. Their projects are designed around a narrative since Serenity believes every empty space is a story waiting to happen.

Their most recent project is an office space for the International Rescue Committee (IRC). This was a turnkey project where the Serenity team was responsible for both the design and build. “We were up against other designers and fit-out contractors, but after a very thorough selection process we won the project which we have since successfully completed leaving behind a happy and pleased client,” says Aleeza Velji, the company’s General Manager.

The key achievements were how they designed the offices to reflect IRC’s brand, values, and history all while creating a modern and functional office space. This was mainly achieved through installations, art and overall aesthetics which were tailored to represent the brand and add character and meaning to the design.

The material selection, the use of geometry, pops of colour, tribal influences, and biophilic design were some of the key themes. Introducing live walls, vertical gardens and indoor plants added to the vibrancy and positivity of the space. The result? They ended up creating an intriguing, visually stimulating, and unique interior space that speaks for itself.

Serenity is proud to add IRC to its ever-growing list of projects. Amongst many other local assignments, they have also worked on various international projects for Non-Profit Organisations, international banks, financial institutions, and research centres to name a few.
