RAMCO GROUP: Workshop for Financial Controllers

Ramco Group held a four-hour workshop, conducted for all Financial Controllers (FCs) of all individual companies within the Group.

The MC for this event was I-Sat captain Mr. Kartik Patel. He also introduced an FC Support Team comprising of Jayesh Patel (Ramco Plexus Ltd), Pratik Patel (Kentainers Ltd), Sagar Shukla (Juma Hardware Ltd), Bhaskar Sabesan (Platinum Packaging Ltd), Mukesh Bhudia (ASL Ltd – Steel Division), Rahul Shah & Manoj Mehta (Ramco Group Ltd). This team will be guiding FCs; specially from new companies on various areas of accounting/finance, systems, management reporting, costing, SOP among others.

Mr. Ronak Parikh from ASL Ltd. explained the nitty-gritties of import processes as well as demonstrated Import module from SAP Business One. Mr. Nipul Sachdev and Mr. Induswe from UIB discussed points to consider while reviewing Insurance portfolios every year. The last topic of discussion was IFRS requirements which were well presented by Mr. Asif Chaudhry and Mr. Kunal Bharadva from PKF. At the end of the program, Group COO – Mr. Hasit Patel emphasize the need of these refresher workshops and FC should take advantage of sharpening their skills sets.
