RAMCO GROUP: Welcomes Kenya National Spelling Bee

The Kenya National Spelling Bee (KNSB) is Kenya’s largest English language spelling competition. It was established in a quest to help learners improve their spelling & vocabulary, develop proper English usage and promote a reading culture among learners. The KNSB is an adaptation of the Scripps National Spelling Bee which is usually held in the United States of America and the Spelling Bee of Canada.

Passionate about promoting a reading culture among learners, KNSB holds countrywide Spelling Bee competitions. Participation in the competition has grown over the course of 3 years, from 18,000 to over 400,000 registered pupils. It is committed to developing life lasting skills, self-confidence, and personal growth through correct spelling. The top 3 winners represented Kenya in the 3^rd African Spelling Bee Championship in which Team Kenya emerged position 2 overall. They also introduced the Spelling Bee TV Show which gathered over 1 million views.
