RAMCO GROUP: Sponsors Rhino Charge

The Ramco Group recently sponsored our own Derek Steel in the 2011 Rhino Charge held on June 1st just past Baringo. As the Navigator of car 21, Derek’s team was one of 18 finisher from the 65 entrants.

The Rhino Charge is an annual event that asks competitors to drive between 13 check points within 10 hours and the winner is determined by who completes the course in the shortest possible distance. This year the event raised over US$1million. These proceeds are used to fence Mt Kenya and the Mau forests which are major water catchment areas for Kenya.
