Ramco Group Sponsors Golf Tournament at Windsor

The rush for points in this year’s Kenya Golf Union Golfer of the Year award resumed at Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club, where top golf amateurs in Kenya are drawn for the prestigious Windsor Classic 2021 golf tournament. The 54-hole Windsor Classic attracted a field of 84 players with handicap of less than 12 and is a major fixture event in the Kenya golf union calendar.

Ramco Group sponsored the 2-day event which took place on 10th and 11th of September. The group also provide giveaways which consisted of branded Ramco Group water bottles, masks, umbrellas and caps. The players, staff of Windsor Golf and Country Club and Kenya Golf Union officials were very grateful for the kind sponsorship to the Kenya Golf Union.

It is also good to note that one of our group staff, Anand Chandarana (Ramco Plexus), achieved 20th overall position out of the 84 players and qualified for the event. Other group staff participants included, Samarth Shah (Pressmaster) and Miqdaad Walji (Ramco Printing). Senior members of the group who attended the presentation included, Hasit Patel (Group COO) and Akshay Gupta (CEO Ramco Plexus) flanked by support staff Elizabeth Kahito (Ramco Group), Stephanie Wambaire and Mercy Auma (Ramco Printing).
