Printstore installs ruling and punching machines for increased production

The Print Store Ltd, ventured into stationary production in 2021 with the brand name ‘HIPPO’. Despite the industry affected by change of school calendar and loss of business arising from the pandemic, there was positive reception in the market for ‘HIPPO’ stationery.

The ‘HIPPO’ Brand aims at providing various Kenyan learning institutions and other sectors products that are unique and of high quality with affordable pricing. Their products include exercise books, drawing books, ruled papers, scribbling books,counter books, cash sales books, receipt books and sketch books.

To speed up production, TPSL installed a ruling and punching machine. The installation was completed by their internal staff with online support at a time when international travel was restricted hence it gave the employees an opportunity to gain experience and highlight their capabilities.

2022 saw TPSL commence a rubber rolling section to help meet the demands of the growing printing industry. Their rubber rolls are of high quality to meet the requirements of various production standards. The new establishment has created employment opportunities for the community around. They have also installed a racking system in their store that has made storage services efficient.
