Since September 2018, Flexoworld has been running an internship program for graphic designers to gain experience in the ‘tips and tricks’ of flexo prepress. So far, four interns have been through the program and one of the four has joined the company as a full-time employee. The CEO, Derek Steel, said, “The internship program gives young designers the opportunity to get an on-the-job-experience and improve their skills. Hopefully, it ends up opening doors for them into further employment for them, either within Flexoworld or with Flexoworld’s clients. It’s a win-win for all.”
