OVIDIAN: Invest in Vacuum Forming Equipment

Ovidian Kenya have recently taken delivery of a variety of new equipment to expand their product range and increase their productivity. The new equipment includes –

  1. Laser die cutting equipment
  2. Routing equipment
  3. Vacuumed forming – 1st of its kind in Kenya

The Laser die cutting will allow for both engraving and precision cutting of plastics, boards and perspex. The router allows the company to cut wood and boards to exact shapes and sizes with 3D effects. The vacuum forming equipment allows Ovidian to expand into the signage market with the ability to shrink plastics over a pre made shape.

All the new equipment will be housed in a 10500 sq ft factory extension currently under construction.

Business Development Manager, Deepak Shukla commented, “The addition of this new equipment allows us to expand in to new product lines and offer clients products never seen before in Kenya. We are excited by this new direction and the opportunity to meet a new customer base.”
